Then add "ADMINISTR-MONITORING" as an alternative to the $1 ~ /(...)/ pattern.

Modify the patterns for setting the f variable to allow for lower case initials as well, e.g. /[pP]ort lic/

This just keeps getting better and better, thanks all.

Is there a easy way to have the printout left centered so all lines are under each headline?

Now it looks like this
Code:
                                       Tag     Trial time      Allowed         Used
=============================================   ============   ==========   ==========
                        USER-AGENT              0           16         0
                        ADMIN-AGENT              0           32        22
              ADMINISTR-MONITORING              0           30        30

I would be surprised if it looked like you post in #9, as zaxxon's proposal prints the entire input line without modification. Fields should be right justified, and they are when I test run the (adapted) proposal.

If alignment is not as you like it, you should have a look at printf.

My misstake, it looks that way when i forward the printout to my mail.
IŽll send the printout to a file and attach it to a mail and send it.

Thanks a lot all Smilie
