Terminator for SunOS 5.10

Hi,

I am trying to install Terminator (terminal emulator) on SunOS 5.10.
But on their page I do not see download for this one:
code . google . com / p / jessies / downloads / list
software . jessies . org / terminator / #downloads

Did anyone manage to to this, and if it is, can please give me some help?

The jessies terminal emulator can be downloaded pre-built for operating systems such as Windows and various Linux flavors, but not Solaris 5.10 AFAIK.

You will need to download the source and compile it.

or

Terminator

thanks for your answer, but could you give me some direction how to do it.

I suposse that I need to have some program to download everything what is inside: jessies . googlecode . com / svn / terminator / ?
also how to compile it?
where to position myself?
which commands to execute?

Not everything, just the source code.

If you click on the 'source' tab on that webpage, it tells you how to get the source code. It's not a direct download link, it uses a revision control system, svn.

You compile it probably by cd-ing into its directory and doing
Code:
./configure
make

It may have less generic instructions inside a file named INSTALL or README or the like.

You will need to have a C compiler installed.

Once you've successfully compiled it, you can probably do sudo make install to install it (sudo since it needs root, unlike the above steps) but be careful to watch what it installs where in case you need to get rid of it or alter it.
