[Help] Adding text to a variable line in a file

Hey guys,
I need to write a script that will add a specific text at the end of a specific line (of a text file). but the line is a variable
this is my text file :
Code:
device_2 ansible_ssh_host=127.0.0.1 ansible_ssh_port=30000 ansible_ssh_user='root'
device_2 ansible_ssh_host=127.0.0.1 ansible_ssh_port=30001 ansible_ssh_user='root'
device_3 ansible_ssh_host=127.0.0.1 ansible_ssh_port=30002 ansible_ssh_user='root'

I need to add "ansible_password=<password>"
at the end of each line. but I need to match the right password for the right device. so I need to to insert, lets say "device_1 ansible_password=<1234>
this should add ansible_password=1234 to the line where there is "device_1"

any ideas?
