Mount...how to mount?

hi,

i am haveing trouble to mount.

i have a workstation linux redhat. i want to mount a library on my linux server.

i want to cd to folder named POPYE from my workstation on the server.

when i write df -h on the station i want to see it as /mnt/POPYE

The mount command mounts filesystems, not libraries. Is this "library" a filesystem, or just a file?

That can only be done using NFS... Your workstation has to have the NFS server (service that is...) running and has to export your directory allowing only your Linux server to mount... Be aware that for security reasons root is not allowed much on nfs mounts except mounting...
