Some versions of the man utility provide various options to accomplish this. The method specified by the standards that should work on most systems would be the following:
Code:
PAGER=cat man desired_man_page

Please don't do that. Don't delete your questions after they have been answered (whether by you or someone else). How is anyone else ever going to benefit from your experience?

If you answer your own question before anyone can respond, simply reply to your own post. Let us know that you solved it and share your solution. This way, nearly 500 years from now, in the year 2491, when a recently-thawed Buck Rogers is struggling to acquaint himself with the UNIX technology that has just finally managed to take over the desktop, your solution can help him conquer his manual pages.

Regards and welcome to the forums,
Alister
