@raggmopp
I have already seen posts explaining that I should search for:
Code:
Defaults requiretty

And negate it... however I dont find anything in my sudoers file with the sring value of (Default) or (requiretty) see below:
Code:
# cat /etc/opt/quest/sudo/sudoers | grep -i Defaults
# cat /etc/opt/quest/sudo/sudoers | grep -i requiretty
#

@Corona688
When you say I can "give it a tty with ssh -t" (but no tty) I'm not to sure where you're referring to?? The rpm installation can only be done from the website, as it has a set way of calling which file to download from which server, what configuration parameters it needs to configure and so on.. On other servers this goes through fine, but for some unknown reason, it wont perform it on this server.. I'm tearing my hair out with this one..
Thanks

I am referring to ssh, and the options you give it.

However I don't think it will be any help, because the reason sudo wants a tty here is so it can ask for a password.

IOW, tty isn't the real problem. The problem is that it wants a password.
