No it doesnt have that option.

I have faced this problem more than a dozens of times.

Seeing sentences "this is supported in Gnu and that is not supported".

But i am unable to find out whether mine commnad is Gnu one or not.

Well let's see.... Gnu's find does not support the + notation. Your find does support the + notation. Take those two facts and see if you can't somehow determine whether or not your find is the gnu find. Because your find is exhibiting different behavior than the gnu find exhibits....you must not have the gnu find.

Also the gnu version of find does support "-version" so yet another indication that you don't have it.

That got cleared in the 4 post only.

I was taking this thing a bit general.
I want to find the same thing for other commands like
make, sed, awk, etc.
No end of the list Smilie

One option is to find out the via the man pages, but thus this option looks feasible. Smilie

It always works this way. Look at what the GNU command and what your command supports. See any differences? Then you don't have GNU.

If I recall corectly, the gnu man pages also display something like "GNU Project" or "GNU <Commandname>" on the very last line of the manpage.
