Search problem

Hi

I have the following problem : i am willing to search over the forum, the posts in which someone proposed a solution that use the command " pr "

Of course i tried to launch it on this search key (as well as on "| pr" but the searching doesn't find anything (search string too short , replacing space with wildcards etc...

Ideas are welcome, many thanks in advance for your time and for your help.

I tried a tag search for pr : did no good. What exactly are you searching for? Just the pr command? Or what do you want to know about pr? Somebody here can help.

I was looking for the posts in which there is a use of the " pr "command just to see various working example.

But the point is not about "pr" itself, it is more a general issue about the search feature when looking for short key search.
The fact that the search does not handle the space (even inside quoting) mades me wonder if there were a way or a tips to workaround it so that the search would give the expected result

Instead of space, try with + .. (eg.,) first_word + second_word in search..

i am willing to seach for the 5 character string "| pr "
which is very different from "|" + "pr"

(i just take "pr" as an example this problem would also happen for any search attempt based short keys and/or on strings containing space.
