Error sort script

hi guys
i looking for someone to help me with a script
i want to sort all de files from /bin by size (from max to min) and the size and path of first 3 files to be written in /home/user/bin_size .And i want to put that script in crontab to execute every monday at 20:00
Can someone help me with that? or at least some ideas please

ls should have an option to order by filesize - check the man page for your OS (e.g. ls -lS).

To extract specific fields from the output you can use something like awk (e.g. ls -lS | awk '{print $3}' > outputfile).

thank you very much for that but can you tell me please how can i list only the first 3 files with awk and how to print the path of files?
