Bootable UNIX?

I recently found a bootable Linux distribution (Knoppix-STD (http://www.knoppix-std.org)) and I was wondering if there was a bootable UNIX distribution floating around somewhere?

Not that I am aware of. Plus, most, if not all, UNIX OS's are not free, as in the case of GNU/Linux or BSD. Except for the more recent offerings of Solaris, all other UNIX OS's cost big bucks.
You may want to try a BSD OS if you are not content with the offerings of GNU/Linux.

Aw man, I am just looking to rebel against the evil that is Micro$oft by trying lots of different types of OSs. The only problem is that I have only 1 harddrive =\

Bootable to install the distribution on a HD? Or bootable to run without installation on a HD?

(just asking to be clear......)
