Variable inside command substitution

Hello people.

Part of my script:

Code:

SUBSETID=`echo $PMFILE |sed 's/pmresult_//' | sed 's/_[^ ]*//'`

MAPFILE=`find /huawei/cell /huawei/nodeb /huawei/rnc -name 'mapping_$SUBSETID.txt' |grep -v backup`

Unfortunatelly variable $SUBSETID in the MAPFILE declaration will not return the value causing the script to freeze.

Please advice how to overcome.

Thank you in advance.

There is no variable interpolation within single quotes

try with this ..
Code:
MAPFILE=`echo "find /huawei/cell /huawei/nodeb /huawei/rnc -name 'mapping_$SUBSETID.txt' |grep -v backup"`

Try using this............

Code:
MAPFILE=`find /huawei/cell /huawei/nodeb /huawei/rnc -name mapping_${SUBSETID}.txt |grep -v backup`
