Can't mount filesystem

I have 2 Linux servers.
rcwlo-ods10g and rcwlo-10gdev

I can mount one filesystem from rcwlo-ods10g onto rcwlo-10gdev fine:
RCWLO-10gDev:/ # mount -F rcwlo-ods10g:/SAN /backup

but when I try another one I get:
RCWLO-10gDev:/ # mount -F rcwlo-ods10g:/backup /backup
mount: rcwlo-ods10g:/backup failed, reason given by server: Permission denied

Both directories on the remote server rcwlo-ods10g have the same owner, group and permissions.

Not sure why the permission denied error is happening but any assistance would be appreciated.

Only difference in mounts on the rcwlo-ods10g server is:

fstab:
/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-360a98000572d5442574a6364677a5972-part1 /SAN reiserfs defaults 1 2
/dev/disk/by-id/scsi-360a98000572d5442574a654674433232 /backup reiserfs defaults 1 2

df -k
/dev/dm-2 1073719608 668739164 404980444 63% /SAN
/dev/dm-0 1610710004 398865804 1211844200 25% /backup

multipathing is enabled but the /backup mount doesn't show part info in the scsi path...
Not sure if that could be it?

Thanks

Got it working...
Needed to export the filesystem.
All working now.

Thanks
