process cpu usage

Trying to come up with a command that will show all processes sorted from highest cpu usage to lowest. Any ideas?

The "top" command. It's a freeware, but some OS's come with it.

Also; I've used some Solaris systems that don't come with "top" but do come with "prstat" which will (by default) essentially perform the same function as top.

Cheers

topas should be there in /usr/bin directory..Check your PATH. You may try accessing using complete path /usr/bin/topas. The other possibility is topas is not installed on your machine.. Alternatively you may use sar, ps or similar utilities

Code:
ps aux

gives you more information.

Spmi: Error 13 opening file /etc/Spmi_shm_hook
