Hi

Does anyone know how to mark messages as unread either in Pine or from a Terminal or some such ?

Thanks,

Quote:
In the default configuration of Pine, you will think that a message is New when it has the N in the index. If you have never changed the index-format in the index screen, then you will see a N flag on messages that are either new or have not been read, and they are referred by Pine as New messages. For example, if you read a message and want to set it to unread, you would flag it new again. Starting in version 4.50 a message that is new in this sense is called New (Unseen).

You should be able to run the flag command (Shift-8 * ) to set a message to new (or unread if you will).

Quote:
* You can mark a message as "Important" so that you can easily find it later. This is done via the "* Flag" command. Once a message is so marked, the FOLDER INDEX will show an "*" in the first column for those messages. The Flag command must be explicitly enabled, and it can also be used to set or reset other message status flags, e.g. New.
