How do you delete cells from a space delimited text file given row and column number?
How do you delete cells from a space delimited text file given row and column number? Letś say the row number is r and the column number is c. Thanks!

Depends. If you're on linux, normal awk is actually gawk which is nawk compatible. If you're in Solaris, nawk may be in some weird path. What is your system?

normal awk is nawk-compatible on ubuntu. On many other systems, plain awk is far more limited than it is in Linux, hence most suggest nawk by default.

This is why it's always important to say what your system is. They're not all the same.
