Zipping files and sending email
Hi,

I need to zip 4 files and send an email attaching the zipped files...

Pls help..

Hi,

I need to convert 4 text files into xls,zip these 4 files and send an email attaching the zipped files..

Unless you have the perl and the Spreadsheet package you will have to create a csv file.
Excel can automatically convert csv or tab-delimited text to an Excel spreadsheet.

What is the format of the text file? Does one column have more than one "word"?
Are you on Linux - else what OS?

Zipping files and sending email
I am on SunOS v 5.8...

I believe uuencode can be used to convert text file into a CSV file right?

I need to convert 4 txt files into CSV files , Zip them and send email
