NameServer not accessible

Hi everybody
I am facing a little problem with names servers. I have a VPS with Kloxo installed on it
I have registered 2 name servers (i.e. ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com) past one month.
These nameservers are not accessible yet. I have check the nameserver on internic site and they are registered with the correct IP. But if I access it online via Internet explorer or nslookup I get server not found. And if I put ip address in IE I get the default page of my server

Anybody can suggest what could be wrong

Regards
Rizwan

A nameserver (e.g. ns1.domain.com) serves up DNS records. So, just registering a "domain" doesn't create a DNS server. Assuming you have a DNS server at ns1.domain.com that is handling records for the zones associated with your domain, it should work provided that the DNS server is accessible (e.g. accessible from the Internet).

Does your DNS server serve up records ok locally? Have you tried to query records from the DNS server host itself and querying itself?

You also have to park the domain in your host.
for example:
Wordpress Shared Web hosting should be set as ns1.hostguts.com in domain registrar control panel and also in the hosting providers cpanel account.

Do I have to create A record under my domain on my server for that name server or it should work without it
