ok,

ftp user.domain.uk

or like

ftp 155.165.3.133

there's only 'network isn't reachable'

I just don't know what to do. there's also no file or folder like

"ftpusers" in /etc ...

Error ftpusers
the file /etc/ftpusers is only for dis allow ftp access.

whatever, I couldn't find the host...

equal what I try.............................arhgz.Smilie

when I'm starting the ftp command from the unix host and write the host of the same unix system it finally works. that's funny. connect via ftp on the same system. but I just can't get a login. but I'm root. baffling. I'm the root and getting 'login incorrect' and 'login failed'.
but thats also not the right way. because I wanna get on the win nt host. probably the host name and ip adress (get it on win nt by cmd, ipconfig /all) doesn't work at all, ftp service and tcp/ip are also installed. Smilie

Bug problem solved !
I just don't know really why, but it works. something in the TCP/IP options of win nt was false...I did reinstall the option and make all adjustments new.
