what are the number for the exit status for command service and what does every number mean.

From the man page for service(8):

Code:
EXIT CODES
       service calls the init script and returns the status returned by it.

Since exit(0) is the default meaning OK, zero is good is true, like 'true', for instance, returns zero. Anything else is a warning at least. Depending on the setup, they range 0-255 or -128 - +127, so you can encode information about the return in there. After that, read man pages.
