Forgot root password

i am a new user of unix .
i lost my SGI unix server root password
Any body please help me,how get password?

When you have physical access to your machine, recovering the root password is easy.

Simply boot from a different boot image (i.e. from CDROM or another hard drive) and mount the original root partition. Then, you can edit the password file.

If you don't have physical access, you have problems and we can't help you.
