arrays how to?

Hello,

I am some what of a newbie to awk scripting and I seem to be struggling with this problem.
I know I need to use arrays but I can't figure out how to use them.

I have an input file that looks like this;

Name,Team,First Test, Second Test, Third Test
Crystal,Red,5,17,22
Vince,Green,3,14,22
Yolanda,Blue,6,18,21
Alfredo,Blue,2,15,23
Charlie,Red,-1,15,24
Phillop,Green,7,19,21
Edword,Green,3,16,20
Irene,Red,9,12,24

I need the output to look like this;
if the score is a '-1' that means the person
was absent that day and did not take the test
and the '-1' must not be included in the average.

Name Average
---- -------
Crystal 14.67
Vince 13.00
Yolanda 15.00
Alfredo 13.33
Charlie 19.50
Phillop 15.67
Edward 13.00
Irene 15.00
------------------
Average for Test 1 : 5
Average for Test 2 : 15.75
Average for Test 3 : 22.125
-------------------
Average for Red Team: 16
Average for Green Team: 13.8889
Average for Blue Team: 14.1667

This out put data will be used in a middle school trial run academics incentive program based on academics and their role as a team player.

arrays only

I hope u are interested, by far, only in the knowledge of initializing and using arrays. Click here to get started.
The arrays can be used as in any other language using the index.
eg: ${arr[3]}
