Delete All email
If I have thousands of email to delete on the mail server POP3, is there a quick way to delete it all in one command instead of going into pine and deleting them one at a time?Smilie

If you are looking to delete a particular user's email, then you can delete /var/mail/username. If you are looking to delete ALL user email, then everything in /var/mail/ and /var/spool/mqueue/ would delete all email (incoming AND outgoing).

/var/mail/ directory may be different on your system (you didn't post the OS/version) - but that should be incoming email (mail already delivered to the system).

/var/spool/mqueue/ directory may be different on your system - that would be the outgoing email.

Don't attempt to remove any files until you confirm the OS/version (example is for Solaris)

I did what you said and deleted all mail under /var/mail/username, this saves me so much time, have a good day.
