I am trying to run a script which will search for 2 strings(stopped,started) in a text file and echo an output depending on below condition

This script runs tshark, then displays the output. I want to read a keypress at all times throughout this script, especially during the 10 seconds that tshark is running. This code however, only takes input before tshark runs.

I am trying to get my history in sync in multiple bash sections and things aren't working the way I expect.
Desired behavior, hitting esc-K in all bash sessions (same userid and machine) will use the same history.

Now the new path variable setting should not done in the same terminal or same shell.
Only a new terminal or new shell should have the new path env variable set.

I found a trick to easily postpone a command by a few seconds:
supernova:~# sleep 10 && command &If you logout, the command should still be executed... But not all the time.

Hi,
I am running this is korn shell
cp $source/$fname $dest/dir && rm $source/$fname
This was returned:
rm: /dir/file not removed: No such file or directory
The file could be found in the $dest directory which meant the cp was success.

NAME
sa2 - Write a daily report in the /var/log/sa directory.
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib64/sa/sa2
DESCRIPTION
The sa2 command is a shell procedure variant of the sar command which writes a daily report in the /var/log/sa/sardd file, where the dd
parameter indicates the current day. The sa2 command handles all of the flags and parameters of the sar command.
The sa2 command is designed to be started automatically by the cron command.
EXAMPLES
To run the sa2 command daily, place the following entry in your root or adm crontab file:
5 19 * * 1-5 /usr/lib64/sa/sa2 -A &
This will generate a daily report called /var/log/sa/sardd It will also remove reports more than one week old.
FILES
/var/log/sa/sardd
Indicate the daily report file, where the dd parameter is a number representing the day of the month.
