Hello brij123,

Following may help you in same.
Code:
awk 'c&&c--;/^61,67/ {c=5}' filename.txt
It is searching a line in a file which starts from 61,67 if that is the case with any line then we are setting value of variable named c=5.
Now c&&c-- means c(if variable c is NOT equal to 0, c-- means if variable's value is not null)
then do default action which is print in awk.
So ultimately aim is to print lines once we match a line which starts from 61,67 and print next 5 lines.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
R. Singh

Hello brij123,

Could you please try following and let me know if this helps. It will not print even the line which has starting from 61,67.
Code:
awk '/^61,67/{c=5};{if(c>=0){c--;next}};{print}'  Input_file

EDIT: If you want to print that line which has string starting with 61,67 and NOT to print next 5 lines then following may be helpful for you.
Code:
 awk '/^61,67/{c=5;print};{if(c>=0){c--;next}};{print}'  Input_file

Thanks,
R. Singh
