When you say stream, do you mean the audio blocks or the metadata?

The audio blocks, yes.

If they're not all audio, perhaps you've been lucking into data that's not audio and getting static as a result?

Even if it means tracking down some ex-employee, any information at all on what system you were using would make this immensely easier.

I took a quick glance at your "input.raw" which you changed to "input".

"input", in places, looks initially as though it is 16 bit signed data.

I assume you have tried 16 bit signed mode and varying bit rates using SOX.

It also looks as though it IS MONO too.

One has to assume that it is companded in some way and a-law/u-law
are probably the best bets at this point.

When listening to the playback of any of your files are there any audio
__patterns__ that you can discern?

This type of "hacking" can be seriously difficult without full binaries/data
to work with...

NICE has published a media player for these proprietary formats.

I have already used Nice Media player and it didn't work. How can I use sox to convert these chunks of data in a not proprietary audio format?

I think the data is adpcm 16 a-law but I do not know how to play it

It may be g.726 16-kilobit ADPCM, which SOX can't handle.
