Tools Linux RIS server installation
Hi, I'm Samir and I'm new here, actually I'm facing a problem, I'm trying to configure a Linux RIS (Remote Installation Server) to drive windows installation from a Linux RHEL5 I got a guide to do that and followed precisely, I am getting this error message in the client side

"INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing, status 21.
Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit". be informed that the txtsetup.sif is there and working because I can install from the same cd normal windows installation.

Can you please post the installation guide that you followed?

What are the permissions of the configuration file you mentioned?

permissions are 555 of that file txtsetup.sif and will be found with any windows installation cd or dvd, this is the guide link "http://oss.netfarm.it/guides/ris-linux.pdf "
