Have you seen the news in xmms.org?
I have a porblema my self with xmms on redhat8, a segmentation fault message. I delete and install all the packages of xmms fro freshrpms and it's working now. |

I have seen the reports on xmms.org, but none of the reports seem to be similar to the problem I am having. But i think I will go ahead and remove xmms and reinstall anyways, to see if it helps, I think I'll compile from source to best match my system too.
