What does the isql command do for solaris 8????
Is this something that comes with solaris because I have it at work but not at home.

isql does not come with Solaris - it is Interactive Structured Query Language which is part whatever database you have on your system at work.

Do a search on google.com for info on isql, or check out the many different database software products such as Oracle, Sybase, Informix,...

For help on SQL commands, do a search on "sql tutorial" or the like on google. If you are going down the path of php/mysql you might want to try www.devshed.com.
