vxfs ACL problem
Has anyone had any experience with VXFS and ACL's? For some reason when these two are used together ACL's don't seem to work properly (i.e. sometimes ACL's won't be applied to files in a directory so that when trying to move the directory, the new directory is created but the old directory still exists). We applied a patch to try to fix this but it did not work.

Running Solaris 2.8
From pkginfo: PKGINST: VRTSvxfs NAME: VERITAS File System CATEGORY: system, utilities ARCH: sparc VERSION: 3.4,REV=GA03 BASEDIR: / VENDOR: VERITAS Software DESC: Commercial File System PSTAMP: VERITAS-3.4_2002_03_12 INSTDATE: Jul 14 2002 14:39 It's not my machine, but a machine at work.Anyway, I'm not sure which patch was applied, but the SysAdmin here looked on the net (I'm guessing Veritas and Sun) and said that the patch we have is the latest.
