Hi people,
How can i use the space of the multiple unused HDDs that i have on the server? Example: I install oracle and the bootable HDD does not have enough space for the installation. How can i place the oracle in another HDD? there is any path to switch thru the installation or any other method to stripe the drive??? Do you thing it is better to get one big HDD and install the OS and the database together? BTW this is on the sparc 5. I appreciate your time. thanks |

Yes, but i can't install the oracle in another slice(partition) of the
same HDD because it is full- no more space. just for this reason i ask the question how to stripe and use the space of the next available HDD. is this possible???? appreciate the help. grep |
