What are the security implications if a mail account in the name of "nobody" has world readable and writable permissions

What type of mailer are you using (and version)?
Normally (for Sendmail) the mailer-daemon and nobody mail goes to /dev/null. Check out the security checklist @ University of Washington and FAQ @ Sendmail.org for more info. |
