Browser

I recently install solaris8. on my computer, unfortunately I’m running AOL 7.

Is't possible to run this on solaris?. If yes, your help is welcome.

If you mean connecting to AOL as an ISP, I'm afraid no, it's not. That's the short answer, but any workaround hacks I've seen to get AOL working on a non-MS/Mac don't typically work very well, if at all - if they do work, it usually isn't very long.

Try getting a cheap dial-up account with Juno or Netzero ($10 or so).

Are both of these viable ppp dial-up accounts? I thought Juno required it's own client (I might be a little out of date on this, though).

That's true, I may be mistaken...
I know the old free Juno required ads, same with Netzero.
I sure hope they don't require you to use a special client and include ads even though they charge money now!
