You can use programme called top
to monitor cpu. if your system have not got top installed. you could download top from www.sunfreeware.com you can also use the following command to monitor cpu sar or vmstat the syntax is sar 5 5 or vmstat 5 5 the above will mornitor your cpu five times every 5 seconds read the man page for more details |
