Question Improve Performance

hi someone tell me which ways i can improve disk I/O and system process performance.kindly refer some commands so i can do it on my test machine.thanks, Mazhar

Yeah mazhar it would be better if you could provide us more information about system, arch etc.
Even we can do application base tunings so its good to know that what all applications you running on your system.
