I am on RHEL 4 for pc. I am doing this for Oracle 10 g installation.
I've did about 5 echo "something" > /proc/..... How can I make my changes applied? I restarted oracle installation and oracle universal installer but it sees old settings ![]() Thanks in advance. Last edited by Junior Admin; 08-19-2008 at 09:03 AM.. |

You may have to execute the following command so that the changes that you have made take into effect.
sysctl -p i beleive that you must have made some changes in sysctl as during oracle Installation we have to change some kernel and network level parameters. Syed Hasan Zubair |
