Thanks for all your Help, unfortunitly it is still not working. I tried to get My DNS IP at www.netsol.com and entered optonline.com in the whois section, It gave me 167.206.1.30. I tested that and 4.2.2.1 both failed(I can ping to both). I noticed if I reboot resolv.conf was put back to my router? So I entered all the IP's in SAM under DNS(BIND)and restarted my local DNS server. Still no luck. Is my Loacal DNS server configured Correctly? Should I be Running a local DNS? The final Netscape Error says something about setting SOCKS_NS var. I did try It and failed. Is there something wrong with my startup script?

The Problem was nsswitch.conf.
I did not have DNS setup up as a secondary search after Hosts. I enabled it with SAM. Thanks |
