Question Linux & Unix Compatibility

I am looking for a dual XEON or any dual CPU motherboard that can support Linux and Solaris at the same time. Does anyone have any idea?
I am now looking at the TYAN S2507T / TYAN S2505T / TYAN S2720, you guys have any clue?

Actually No. I would like to make sure the motherboard and everyelse can go with these two OS. Co'z I am pretty sure I will use this system for Linux, then probably after a month, format it and go for Solaris.
So, not at the same time but I have to have something that can definitely support both.

If the motherboards have Intel processors and your version of Solaris is a version that runs on Intel processors you will be OK. It's that simple.

So, it doesn't really matter with the motherboard? It is just the CPU?
And do you mean that for the Solaris, there is a version for Intel, and other for AMD?

I checked that list already, however the motherboards shown in the list are all very old, like Pentium 2 or Pentium 3 XEON. Yet, there is nothing for dual processor, and nothing for TYAN as well.
