add new hd
Dear All,
my server is Sco Unix 3.2.4.2 and I had 2 hd on this machine but this morning I lost 1 of them because of hardware problem. disk was crashhed. I want to add a new hd but I do not have enough info for this. Because I did not add any hd after installation. anybody help me ?? thanks alice |

why can't you just add the new drive and mount it like you would any other piece of hardware?
I guess I don't understand your question. Can you be more clear? |

You can get info on installing a new drive (or replacing one) at PCUnix - SCO
|

When you put your Harddisk in Slot...Restart Unix. When Start it will detect your hardisk...After you can use command fdisk to view detail list of Partion in Hardisk (have new your harddisk)
root@localhost# : fdisk -l Good luck |
