what's happening with my keyboard

hi everybody.

i ussually use unix and windows, but mainly unix-mandriva distribution, and i have a problem.
i have like main os unix, and windows as secondary, and this one is loaded by vmware application.
well, when a i load vmware to execute windows afterwards when i return to unix, in this other all the secondary keys do not work, and then i can't use the capitol letters. this is the keys like shift, control, block capitol letters do not work. for example in this moment i cannot write the capitol letters.
somebody could help or tell what's happend.

Tricky one I had similar problem, but it was solved with replacing the keyboard itself Apparently the issue is introduced when switching between OSes, but vmware is also involved. It may be that older version of vmware tools is messing up keyboard drivers when swapping the OSes. I suggest that you ask in the vmware forums for such issue, it could be vmware specific, I've seen a lot of these. Does that happen also when you work only in one environment ?
