how to recover deleted files in unix

Hi Experts,

by mistake i deleted some files that are very important to the project.
is there any way that i can recover those files,there is no backup for that but the details of the file we know.
This will be a great help.

You can use Stellar phoenix Linux recovery software which will recover your files.

The unrm is unlikely to work. Its crap.. No way you can recover your deleted file in an Unix env...

We can do that!

If you want to restore the files or directories . use the restoration process.You said its important project files ..so there must be some unix support people who take backup's every day .. call them and ask them to restor the directories or files prior to last modified date .. though its time taking you can do that its simple..
