What is Commisioning/De-commisioning in Unix? I have never heard of it. I would truly appreciate your help.

These terms are to describe the processes of making "live" a server on the network, and taking a server off the network respectively.

Thanks, Frozentin. Can anyone explain the process of Commisioning and Decommisioning in Unix. I can't really find anything online. If you find anything on this topic online then feel free to post links here.
