default location of mv command?

Hi all,

I am working on aix5.3 unix machine. I've made a silly blunder, while moving 2 files.

i've used the command mv ../log/file1.log ../log/file2.log

I've missed giving out the destination directory. Now i am unable to find the files in the original location or my current working directory from which i've issued this command. Cansomeone help me out as to where these files could be moved to ? Or are they lost?

Your ../log/file1.log is now named ../log/file2.log and your ../log/file2.log is no more..

And please dont double post, it's against the forum guidelines
