Lightbulb Darwin + XFree86 FTP Client

Does anyone know of a decent Darwin + XFree86 FT client package? Obviously a precompiled file is better than binary, but I'll take what I can get.

Talking Please see above.

Please see above. This is Darwin & XDarwin, not OS X. All of these clients require OS X. Repeat, this is command-line UNIX (Darwin) and X-windows (XDarwin). Anyone else?

Darwin is the core of Mac OS X. All software built for Darwin should be able to run unmodified on Mac OS X and Vice versa.

This is a line that i picked at :
http://developer.apple.com/darwin/pr...arwin/faq.html

I do strongly believe some of the interface of the software should run on both MAC OS and Darwin. The Link that i provide should work well on both Darwin and MAC OS X. Give a try. Incase of mistaken.. anyone else have any idea of this.

No; all Darwin software, including XDarwin, will run on Mac OS X; Mac OS X software requires the Mac OS X.

I believe that all software everywhere should be free to the public, but it's not. Darwin is free; XDarwin is free. OS X is proprietary, it's not free, and Apple Legal will squish you if you try to make it free. That notwithstanding, Apple is the absolute best company involved with microcomputers, followed by Adobe and Filemaker.

MacOSX Aqua-based software will definitely not run on XDarwin.

As for X11 compiled stuff for OSX, check out: Fink net packages

dani++

[edit: you'll see there's 'gftp' already compiled in Fink]

Question gftp

How the hell does Fink work? Can I easily do what it does automatically?
