Information needed
As part of a school project I'm supposed to make a webpage on operating systems (Other than windows) and the three I was told to do were Linux, Unix, and Mac. I got Linux and Mac done pretty easily because I use them a lot but Unix is showing some problems. Could anyone give me some information on it? I need things like similarities to windows, differences, and common tools. Also if anyone could I need to know similarities and differences for mac to along with tools. I have everything else I need.

In 2007 the Unix trademark was handed over to The Open Group that has developed standards for the system. All Unix systems must meet their standards or they are considered Unix-like systems. Linux is considered a Unix like system because it was built off of Unix and no longer meets the standards. |
