Hey all
![]() I finally got around to installing FreeBSD 4.4, which considering it's my first attempt with *nix, didn't go too badly. I've managed to configure X and everything else, but I've got a bit of a problem, lol. I installed KDE and GNOME. I had a rough idea as to what they were, but I didn't realise they could conflict with each other. I thought they were 2 separate Window Managers, and it seems that's not the case. Now, whenever I run either of them, I get lots of segmentation faults; I really do mean lots. ![]() So, my question is this; How do I remove either of them? I tried going through /stand/sysinstall, but there's no uninstall option. I've been to the FreeBSD cheat sheet sites etc. and to be honest, I feel like I'm a little bit over my head lol. Could anyone give me a hand with this please? Thanks in advance, hellz. |
