Arrow full path of .profile in unix

need a help,
am a newbe in unix
how do i locate the full path of the .profile where the environmental variable for a user is set.

cd $HOME will change you to your home directory. There you will be able to find the .profile file

I assume you're talking about some OTHER user than yourself.

The lsuser command will tell you a variety of things, including where the user's home folder is located.

cd ~ or just cd will do the trick as well if we're talking about your home folder.
Otherwise cd ~username

Unix server shutdown after over heat

my unix server shutdown after over heat and refuse to come up.
what will i do
