help

I need to know, which script starts the apache web server on start up? If anyone could help me that would be great. I'm in deep trouble if I can't find the script.

I put this in a new thread, since it had nothing to do with the thread it was in.

Where is Apache installed? The script is called "apachectl". It has to run by root, like this:
cd /usr/lib/apache/bin
./apachectl start

This assumes, of course, that Apache is installed at /usr/lib/apache/

Hope this helps.
