HOW TO Changing ip address advice
Hi,
I am new to solars admin. My company want to change the ip adress presently it is 10 series they want to 20 serices i have done like this 1) #ifconfig -a (to check the interface) 2) #ifconfig <interface> new ipaddress up 3) #vi /etc/hosts 20.*.*.* wq! presently my version is 9 please let me know any thing else and who to start the serive , i know that go to /etc/init.d/ nest i forgot. Please help me. Thanks, Phatan. |
