I know how to ftp from a unix server to another unix server, but how do I ftp frmo unix to a sepcified windows folder?
For example, test file to transfer unix location of file - /tmp/test windows location to receive file c:\application\interface normally I would open the connection to the server, in this instance civica01 or IP address of xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (this works ok) I would then put the file from the unix server /tmp/test to the location of the other server, this is where my query starts. ftp doesn't recognise c:\...... Do I need to mount the windows location on the unix server in order to carry out the file transfer? Regards, Mark |
