SCO UNIX System V/386, Release 3.2

I was just wondering if there is a way to recursive grep for something in this version of UNIX... so that I don't have to do it a directory at a time?

Maybe something like would work for you:
find /dir -type f -exec grep "some string" {} \;

Simply replace "/dir" and "some string" to your needs...
